I am now 30 weeks and have less than 50 days until Mackenzie comes. We are so busy getting ready for Gabrielle's 1st birthday and for Mackenzie's birthday. We've ordered the furniture and bedding and will be busy painting soon. I'll post pictures of the girl's new rooms as soon as they are finished. I won't be able to climb stairs until six weeks after Mackenzie's arrival so it may be a while until they are actually in them.
This past week our little booboo has been sick...again!! She had hand, foot and mouth at the beginning of the month and now has roseola. It started Monday night and she ran high fever Tues, Wed and then Thurs night the rash came. She really felt rotten. We couldn't even put her down to go to the bathroom which made for interesting juggling acts. ANYWAY!!!, (sorry for the visual) here she is...
Just pitiful. We basically opened up the sleeping bag on the living room rug and put down pillows and just held her and watched tv for three days. She would get up to play a little and then put her head down and take a nap. I think all the fever made her a tad bit crazy and irritable. She would try to get away with things that she knows she can't do like, play with the pet's food and water bowls, put just the soles of our shoes in her mouth or intentionally yank mommy's hair out. When we would fuss she would bring on the dramatic tears instantly which made us feel bad and go to pick her up. As soon as we would pick her up she would smile and hit us or pinch...that's her new one. She pinches our arms or pulls the hair on them. I don't know when is the appropriate age for time outs and taps but I assure you if she can comprehend no no and making us feel sorry for us, then time outs are not far behind. She has become quite the actress and I can't even imagine what comes next!
