Friday, Blake and I had an appointment for Mackenzie to see the specialist. She now weighs 3lbs 3oz and is in the 65th percentile for weight. Her belly size went down from 92nd percentile (4 weeks ago) to 83rd percentile. Basically, mom is doing good and staying on this no fun diabetes diet which is a sacrafice I'm happy to make for her and me. I actually lost a pound this visit and she gained a pound!!!
Saturday, we had the 4d ultrasound. She would not cooperate at first but the us tech positioned me pretty much like I was doing a back bend on my side and we ended up getting some good shots. I have to say Gabrielle was not too keen on willingly giving up some of her attention but overall she did good considering mommy and daddy forgot her diaper bag along with her 3 o'clock snack! Mackenzie looks very much like Gabrielle. We joked that Blake and I got our twins, just 1 year and 27 days apart. You judge for yourself. Pick out which ones you think are Mackenzie and which are Gabrielle:

Wow! I can't believe how much she looks like Gabrielle. Can't wait for her debut...miss you!
Cannot wait to see her! Gabrielle will be such a great big sister, they will be best friends.
