Bebe' has the croup!

We were on our way to Aunt Chloe's roller skating birthday party on Sunday (Happy Birthday!)when Bebe' started screaming. She screamed the entire time we were in the car. We obviously turned around and took her to the after hours clinic near our house. She ended up with a double ear infection and baby bronchitis or croup. We were devastated. She has had a couple of sinus infections but this was her first sickness and it was pretty hard for all of us. She was so pitiful but a trooper through it all. She finally went back to Ms. Amanda's today (her sitter) and had a wonderful day with her friends.

In other news...

Bebe' is standing. on. her. own. without help! Lord, help us all!! She started to bounce up this weekend but now she'll be sitting down and just stand up without holding on to anything. We clap and make a big deal out of it so she does it constantly now and each time she demands the same response with equal enthusiasm. Blake snapped a couple of pics:







She also had her 9 month well baby visit on Friday. Poor thing has seen three doctors in four days. Every time we walk into the doctor's office she waves her hand bye bye as if to tell me to get her the hell out of there. She weighed 9.13 but lost a couple of ounces 9.8 being sick. She is normal on her weight but above normal on her height...she's over 28 inches.
