In all my madness the past couple of weeks, I have forgotten to blog about something that is very near and dear to our hearts. Two weeks ago was National Infertility Awareness Week. I was going to let it pass by quietly but lately I have been approached by a couple of people that know someone struggling with Infertility and want to hear our story.
We are extremely private people when it comes to this subject but we are more than willing to help anyone going through this. As many of you know, Blake and I had to wait a little longer for our miracles than most. But what most people didn't know was the struggle we went through. We turned to other couples we knew for support and online as well. Unfortuantely, or story doesn't end the same way for most couples. In fact to our doctors, we are a one in a million case. Our doctors use our story as a "success" story to other couples. We have had the pleasure of knowing some of the greatest people through this experience. For some reason in life, people going through the same crisis tend to stick together. Most of the women I met through being a member of RESOLVE and other infertility communities like it, are the strongest most beautiful women I have ever known. I still keep in touch with them and share pictures of my angels. Some of them have recieved their miracles and some are still waiting.
This video is a staple for all infertility communites and since it is a world that most of you aren't aware of, I thought I would share it with you. I keep it in my favorites to remind me of how truly blessed we are every day that we have our babies in our lives. It is amazing to think how far we have come and the joy that awaits us. For those people that are struggling with Infertility or those that know someone who is struggling, this one's for you.
