Halloween

Hope everyone had a great Halloween!! Ours was spent mostly in the car going around town to see costumes. We had originally planned to kind of hang low for the night but at the last minute felt bad and had to scramble to make the most of the couple of hours we had. I tried to get Gabrielle involved by singing her the trick or treat song in the car on the way to various parties but she didn't remember it when we got there. She was such a trooper! She didn't mind her costume but towards the end she got really tired and couldn't get in a comforable position to conk out with the big lady bug belly and head. Our first stop was to see Kennedy (50s sock hop girl) and Captain Jack Sparrow aka Baby Henry. He always wants to grab and kiss Bebe' (and who wouldn't?) and he loved her even more as a lady bug. Here are some pictures of all three of them:

After this last one, she kind of fell on her side and layed there catatonic for a couple of moments. She looked like a squashed bug. We all were laughing so hard no one could stop to take a picture. I guess she thought she couldn't move in it! Oh, and by the way, I don't have any other pictures from the night b/c my camera batteries died! I really need to get a jump on this Mommy game. I should have had tons for back up, oh well. I stole these pictures from the Schexnayder's blog. Thanks Vero.

Our next stop was to see Missy, Gabrielle's Nanny. We saw Gabe the professional golfer there. I say professional b/c he had his pom pom golf hat sideways he was so comfortable in his costume. He also had brand new white Nike's that matched his get up perfectly. He doesn't skimp for Trick or Treating.

Our last stop was to see Abi (sailor girl) and Bradley (spider man) at Uncle Brad and Aunt Lori's house. They're whole street gets into the Halloween mood and I have to say, it is the best Trick or Treating around. The whole street had "the good candy"...no cheap stuff here. One house gave them a drink! Such a great idea they had. I mean the children really need a sugary drink to wash down the candy. Boy, I can't wait until next year!
