Happy 40th Birthday Sesame Street!! Blake and I both grew up watching this program and I don't know about him but I got a lot of aww's when I asked to turn it on. Like aww no not again!! (Umm, does a certain Uncle want to step forward??? Hmmm?) Needless to say I was hooked...no, obsessed and I'm proud to say so is Gabrielle. We know it is just a matter of time for Mackenzie to pick a favorite character because she has herself a little giggle when watching it. Gabrielle's bestie is Elmo. She used to call him Mo but she has recently added the El to Mo. She calls Cookie Monster Coo-ookie and whenever she sees the Count she says, "ah-ah-ah." We have DVDs that we watch every. single. day. with Elmo teaching us how to use the potty, go to bed or sing. Just about every song we sing is from Sesame Street. I unfortunately know all the words to the theme song, Rubber Duckie, Elmo's song, This Old Bat, This Little Piggy (In the style of Tina Turner), A Cat had a birthday...and many, many more.
Here is Cookie Monster giving an interview:
And El-mo giving his:
And dancing...there's no Sesame Street without music and dancing:
In other Mora news,
Kenzie is flipping over like crazy!! She's doing really good with learning balance and I'm sure it won't be long before she's sitting up. Gabrielle says everything now. Ev-er-y-thing you say, she says. It's hilarious and scary all at the same time.

I love it! Cayden calls Elmo "Mel-Mo" - go figure. They are too cute. Hope I can come see yall over the holidays. XOXO!
Ok, ok, ok! I was the uncle, but don't ever forget that you won the battle most of the time. Masami begins her day with Sesame Street and she loves the whole gang. I used to love Big Bird and Snuffy. During my time he was just an imaginary friend and now everyone knows him. What gives? I thought that was the coolest thing. I used to have nightmares about the Count, is that why I struggled with math? Hmmmmm!
Take Care,
Uncle Rob
