Water fun

I figured since I have so much to catch you guys up on I'll do a bunch of mini posts instead of one big one. Mackenzie did fantasic yesterday and only got fussy when the sitter had to put her down to fix everyone lunch. My girls are both spoiled rotten with the wanting to be held all the time. Blake and I always have them in our arms, we literally switch up every so often. We figure there will come a day very soon that they won't want us to hold them so we are going to get it all in now.

Gabrielle has become quite the talker lately. She knows so many words that I can't even begin to list them here. We hear one more than others--"shoose." Every waking moment the child has to have shoes on her feet. For someone who hated to wear shoes when she was younger, she sure does love them now. She walked around the house last night with her white dress shoes (bows and lace) on and pjs. If she doesn't have her shoes on, she is walking around in my "shoose." I just love the way she says that! She also says "bad" really good and clear which has become not such a good thing. Last Thursday she went for a check up and got four shots. When the nurses turned to leave she lunged at them to slap while she called them bad. We had to have the conversation that we can hit the floor when she falls but not people. She understands every single word we say. Every. single. word.

Here she is at her cousin Jake's birthday party at Gonzales Park. Happy Birthday Jake!! They have a water park there for the kids. She had a blast! She is playing with her cousin Blakley.
