Big Girl!

Two more days until our baby turns 5 months and I'm excited but sad. She is getting so big so fast and she is trying to be so independent. She will not lay down unless she is drinking a bottle watching tv (yes, she is already a diva) or if she is sleeping in my arms which seems to be her favorite way to take a nap! She also started throwing fits...literally, she throws her head back and kicks her feet when she doesn't get something fast enough. I know she is spoiled but I can't help it...just look at that face and tell me what you would do! She had mommy and daddy wrapped before she even came out but it is much, much worse now. She rules our lives and we wouldn't have it any other way.

She recently found her feet and doesn't really pay much mind to them unless we point them out or if she is wearing socks that she doesn't think need to be there. Here's daddy helping her take her socks off...

She loves to be on her play mat now. I went and bought a set of mats from Target so she wouldn't have to lay on the hard concrete floors. I need to go get some more because she is quickly out growning them. She loves to lay and play with her toys.

I tried to get the sisters to take a picture together but neither one wanted to say cheese. Look at Gabrielle looking at Layla like what do you think you are doing on my mat?!
Now they are just refusing...I think bebe' learned her divaness from Layla.
Flipping over has become her new obsession. We can't put her down for one second and she flips. The funny thing is she can only do it from her back to her belly on the left side. She has been flipping over from her belly for a while now. I can't even change her diaper without her turning over. She does it so fast I couldn't keep up with the camera.


We have finally moved in the house!! Woohoo!! Actually, we moved in the weekend of the hurricane and with all the madness we haven't finished unpacking. As soon as we get settled I will post some pics. We still have a lot of work to do but it is so nice to be in and have so much space! We simplified our life when we moved out of our old house by getting rid of all the junk we had accumulated over the years. We thought we didn't have much to move in until we realized the baby had double what we both had put together. I have a feeling that we haven't seen nothing yet!
